Develop and implement policies and practices for the subject area which reflect the universities commitment to high achievement. Establish short, medium and long-term plans for the development and resourcing of the subject through thorough self- evaluation. Monitor the progress made in achieving subject plans and evaluates the results with periodical reviews.

Plan, delegate and evaluate the tasks carried out by the department staffs. Maintain an active program of research & publication, in accordance with university guidelines. Coordination with departmental, college, and university committees.

Advise and mentor students, by providing guidance on course and career options and to create/implement innovate career-enhancement programs and activities. Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and deliver high-quality programs * Participate in professional development activities to keep abreast of latest developments.

Maintain a positive working environment and manage budgets, resources effectively, advise students and supervise graduate research projects, guide Phd students, Initiates research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in Scopus indexed journals and conferences.
