Job Summary:

AMM Public School is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Science Teacher to join our team of educators. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in science education and a passion for inspiring students to explore and understand the wonders of the scientific world. As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging science lessons, fostering scientific inquiry, and promoting critical thinking skills among students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with the school’s curriculum and educational standards.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
• Utilize various teaching methods, resources, and technologies to deliver effective science lessons.
• Demonstrate and explain scientific concepts and principles using appropriate instructional materials and real-world examples.
• Conduct laboratory experiments and hands-on activities to promote practical understanding of scientific concepts.
• Assess student learning and progress through regular evaluations, assignments, and examinations.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth and development.
• Identify and address individual learning needs and provide extra support or enrichment activities as required.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to develop interdisciplinary projects and enhance the learning experience.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in science education and incorporate innovative teaching strategies when appropriate.
• Promote scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills among students.
• Foster a safe and respectful learning environment that encourages intellectual curiosity and teamwork.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of student attendance, grades, and other relevant information.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress, achievements, and areas for improvement.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and school events as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Science Education, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
• Valid teaching certification or license in Science Education.
• Proven experience teaching science at the primary or secondary level. Experience in an international school setting is a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of scientific concepts, principles, and methodologies across multiple disciplines.
• Strong instructional and classroom management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students to develop a passion for science.
• Proficiency in using educational technology and multimedia resources for teaching.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with advancements in science education.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹6,000.00 – ₹7,000.00 per month
