We are looking for experienced, competent, and committed individuals for the position of Assistant Professor in the department of Amity Institute of Neuropsychology & Neurosciences for its Noida campus:

Essential Qualification:

Masters degree in Neurosciences / Life Sciences / Physiology / Zoology / Biochemistry / Bioengineering / Biophysics / Biotechnology / Psychology and Ph.D. in the relevant field as advertised. The candidate(s) applying for the post(s) must have independent research competence as proven by publication records (in WoS/Scopus journals) in the relevant field . [Graduate/post-graduate degree holders (prior to Ph.D.) in Electronics/ Electrical/Computer Science/Mathematics/Physics (i.e. non-Biology subjects) may also be considered if the candidate has sufficient proven record of quality publications in the subject; however, the final decision will be on the selection committee]

Experience:

Post-doctoral experience, teaching, supervising/training students in research, and sanctioned independent projects, which can be transferred to AMITY, if selected, will attract additional credit to be decided by the selection committee.

Job Description:

Regular classroom teaching to Undergraduate and Post-graduate students. Conducting research and supervising Ph.D. and other research scholars. The candidate should be able to bring in extramural research grant for ones research. This University encourages collaborative research with mutual benefit.

Running positions are available in the following core and allied research areas:

Neurophysiology with expertise using electrophysiological studies/techniques

Neuroanatomy (Macro and/or Micro) with strong research base using molecular and immuno-histochemistry

Neuro-Psycho/Immuno Biology
