About Children First: 

Children First is a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service located across Delhi and Gurgaon. We have been providing ethical, effective, and holistic solutions for children and adolescents until the age of 25 years for over a decade. 

The CF team is led by Dr. Amit Sen, Dr. Shelja Sen and Dr. Kavita Arora, who have deep expertise and extensive experience in the child and adolescent mental health space. Over the years they were joined by some of the most committed, empathetic, and skilled professionals, building a multidisciplinary team, which continues to grow. 

Expectations from the applicant: 

• Interest and inclination to work with Children, Adolescents, Youth, and their families
• Working as a team player within a multidisciplinary team toward a child-centered program for each family 
• Helping to think creatively to build efficient services for child mental health 

Core Competencies: 

• Prior experience in working with children, adolescents, and youth up to 25 years of age
• Fundamental knowledge of child and adolescent psychiatry and mental health
• Team player with a keenness to work within a dynamic multidisciplinary team of child psychiatrists, child psychologists, therapists, occupational therapists, and play therapists Fluent in English and Hindi. 
• High on professional ethics 
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written) 
• Keenness to learn and grow as a professional and develop services of Child Psychiatry as well as Child Mental health in India

Qualifications: 

• Essential: MBBS, MD (Psychiatry) 
• Desirable: Previous experience in working with children and adolescents
• Experience: 2+ years of experience (Desirable experience: 5-10 years)
• Additional training/interest besides biological aspects of Child Psychiatry
• Fellowship or Specialist training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
