About The Role
- We are looking for a User Researcher who will dive deep into the lives of our users, understand their pain points, and determine insights that will help drive product development at the company. The Researcher must have deep customer empathy, a structured thought process, and the ability to see what others may not be able to. An interest in mental health and/or psychology is an added advantage.
- The researcher will be responsible for all aspects of research (planning, recruiting, moderation, analysis, reporting) for both generative and evaluative (usability testing, UX) research. The researcher should be comfortable working with data, secondary research, and qualitative and quantitative analysis. It is important for the individual to be self-driven and have strong documentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with product teams to identify research questions
- Act as a thought leader in the domain of research, while advocating for people who use our products
- Design and execute studies that address both user behavior and attitudes, using the right methodology for the right questions
- Generate insights that shape how product teams think about short and long-term product strategy
- Work cross-functionally with design, product management, data science, content strategy, engineering, and marketing
- Communicate insights in creative and compelling ways
Requirements
- BA/BE/Design degree or equivalent from any educational institute. A Master’s degree is desirable but not necessary
- At least 2 years of User/UX Research experience at a consumer tech company
- Interest or prior experience in a mental health organization
