Responsibilities:

Lead lectures for a variety of classes, including on-site instruction and classroom teaching

Develop, create, and deliver lectures, presentations, and presentations

Plan and implement learning goals for students

Maintain and improve student evaluations

Engage students in classroom discussions, active learning, and lab activities

Conduct assessments to determine student understanding, and monitor student progress based on learning goals

Use technology effectively in the classroom and for online and blended courses

Meet with prospective students, parents, and donors

Duties:

Prepare weekly and monthly class notes

Study student activities and performance

Create learning objectives

Develop assignments and lesson plans

Demonstrate control of the classroom, maintaining a safe learning environment

Provide constructive feedback to students

Oversee classroom activities, facilities, and equipment

Develop and administer tests

Create and modify course materials

Meet with students individually, in small groups, or in groups

Train and coach other teachers or faculty as needed

Evaluate students’ coursework and progress

Develop and implement assessment strategies

Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures within the classroom

Enforce school policy and regulations

Provide feedback to instructors, staff, students, and administrators to improve teaching effectiveness
