This is an exciting opportunity to work with young learners and contribute to their overall development and well-being.Responsibilities:- Assess and evaluate the developmental, cognitive, sensory, and motor skills of children in order to determine their specific needs and requirements.- Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy intervention plans for children with a variety of developmental delays, sensory processing disorders, and physical disabilities.- Provide therapeutic interventions using evidence-based techniques and approaches to improve children’s sensory integration, fine and gross motor skills, self-care abilities, and social interaction.- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement strategies that support the child’s occupational therapy goals within the school environment.- Monitor and document the progress of each child, adjusting therapy plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.- Educate parents, teachers, and caregivers on techniques and activities to reinforce therapy goals and promote carry-over in daily activities.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including assessment reports, progress notes, and treatment plans.- Stay informed about the latest research, advancements, and best practices in pediatric occupational therapy through continuous professional development.Requirements:- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.- Valid license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in India.- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in a paediatric or school setting, but Freshers are also welcomed to apply.- Sound knowledge of child development, sensory integration, and various therapeutic techniques.- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills to identify children’s individual needs.- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals.- Ability to create a safe, supportive, and engaging therapy environment for children.- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of children with varying abilities.- Familiarity with assistive technology and adaptive equipment is a plus.At Alpine First Step Pre School, we are committed to providing a nurturing and inclusive environment for our students.
