Allen Career Institute has been in the coaching sector for the last 35 years and has earned an undisputed market leader position in preparation for JEE (Main+Advanced), NEET, Class VI to X, NTSE, and Olympiads.
Traditional coaching setups have a strong consumer proposition regarding outcomes, but their geographic presence limits them, and the classroom journey is not personalised. Digital education companies have predominantly solved access but have yet to have much success in delivering deep engagement, comprehension, and outcomes. We at Allen Digital believe that we can take the best of both traditional classrooms and digital technologies and create an education platform that takes the application of technology more profoundly into the student journey and bring learning outcomes at scale.
About the team
Product Marketing Management at ALLEN Digital is responsible for representing the customers (students, parents and faculty) in product development as well as leading go-to-market strategy.
The ideal candidate will have a multi-disciplinary background—including business strategy, product marketing and analytical skills, have experience working on consumer-tech products, and be passionate about opportunities at the intersection of education and technology. We’re looking for a big-picture thinker and strong problem solver who can partner cross-functionally and cross-teams to drive results.
Responsibilities
- Lead market and consumer understanding to develop product strategy and provide product team leadership in partnership with product management, engineering, design, research, analytics, etc.
- Lead market research, competitive insights, customer segmentation, opportunity assessment, etc., to prioritize product and business opportunities
- Lead comprehensive go-to-market strategy by owning the development of product positioning, value proposition, messaging, audience strategy, PR etc
- Drive product adoption in the market in collaboration with digital marketing and sales
- Foster strong relationships & influence company-wide leadership & drive cross-functional alignment with product management, marketing, academics and sales
- Be the voice of the market (students, parents and teachers) to the product team, including qualitative and quantitative feedback from offline centers, and influence the product to prioritize critical changes
Skills & Competencies
- 11+ years of experience in product marketing, product strategy/management or consulting with consumer or technology products
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with keen attention to detail and a passion for tackling challenging business problems
- Experience partnering with product or engineering to represent market and consumer needs
- Experience taking products through their entire lifecycle and developing go-to-market strategies
- Strong communicator with experience collaborating and influencing partners, managing key stakeholders across a cross-functional team in an evolving and fast-paced environment
- Proven leadership experience in building teams
