All European Careers Hiring For Senior Instructor/Writer – Full Remote – Contractor in USD at Karnātaka Full Time

For an international organization in Washington, we are urgently looking for a Full Remote Senior Instructor/Writer (+8 years of relevant experience). We are looking for a contractor, who is able to work 8 hours US (Washington) time. This position is long-term.

Candidates need to be fluent in English. The instructor/writer will be expected to conduct learning sessions at least three to four days per week. This may consist of full days, half-days, one-hour demos, or a combination.

The instructor/writer will also be observed by members of the ITS Learning Team, using either videoconference or web conferencing tool, to ensure consistency of learning. The Instructor/Technical Writer is also expected to design, create, and maintain technical documentation for IT infrastructure projects. The documentation will include online help, user guides, instructions or manuals, white papers, design specifications, and system manuals.

Tasks and Responsibilities:Provide classroom (up to 12 staff) and large (up to 35/40) and small group presentations (demos or clinics), either face-to face or via a webinar format (using WebEx and/or similar products),including the setting up and breaking down of classrooms (turning on/off machines, distribution and cleaning up of materials, etc.), ensuring that the latest Bank supplied materials are used, sign-in of participants, handling logistical problems that arise before and during training sessions, etc. Conduct one-on-one learning (sometimes entitled “coaching”) either face-to-face, via videoconference, or webinar. Ensure that learning evaluations are completed by staff attending (on-line or on paper).

Provide feedback, on a regular basis, of issues, suggestions, possible FAQs, etc. which you observe and/or are made aware of, and follow-up on those issues or suggestions made, whenever appropriate. Assist with the creation/update of learning materials, such as Instructor Notes, Quick Reference Guides, Quick Tips, etc. Review Participant Evaluations with the Learning Team Lead to review performance and make adjustments to the learning program, as needed.

Design, create, and maintain technical documentation for the appropriate audiences. Proofread, edit, format documentations, and ensure all materials have the appropriate branding. Profile:Bachelor or Master degree;+8 years of experience in conducting training on a variety of topics, such as Office 2013, Outlook 2013, etc. and +2 years in the area of technical documentation.

Excellent oral and written communication, documentation skills, well organize and detail oriented. Understanding of virtualization and containers (Docker, Kubernetes, microservices);Understanding or experience with database and big data technologies;Strong understanding of Azure services for building web application. Experience in SDLC process.

Experience in conducting learning on proprietary applications. Experience in delivering webinars using products such as WebEx, etc. Experience assisting in the design and development of face-to-face workshops, learning materials, etc. (preferred)Experience with technical reporting and usage of tools, such as Microsoft Office, Visio, AutoCAD, etc.
