RESPONSIBILITIES:
Planning
1. Prepare the strategic plan to achieve the targets set by the Board of Directors with respect to the strategic development of the school (primary/secondary).
2. Take part in devising and reviewing the school (primary/secondary) policies and procedures in line with the requirements of the regulatory bodies as well as the school (primary/secondary)’s strategic development plans to achieve targets set by the Executive Management.
3. Implement all policies and procedures of the school (primary/secondary) – academics, discipline, Child safety and Health, etc.
4. Prepare the calendars to implement academic and non-academic activities of the school (primary/secondary).
5. Execute the planned activities of the school (primary/secondary) with enhanced quality
EMPLOYEE JOB DESCRIPTION
6. Prepare Budgets of the school (primary/secondary) including HR, IT, Events, Sport, Resources and other requirements needed to achieve the strategic targets.
7. Ensure 100% student strength in the school (primary/secondary).
Administration:
8. Design and oversee all the activities and programs for the year in the school (primary/secondary)
9. Establish accountability system throughout the academic and admin departments to ensure zero complaints. Oversee prompt issue of circulars and enhance the quality of communication between all the internal and external stakeholders.
10. Review policies and procedures, staff and student performances, events and activities to enhance quality.
11. Coordinate with relevant departments for smooth functioning of the school (primary/secondary) with respect to daily routines, events, competitions, meetings, trainings, etc.
12. Monitor and document records of student attendance, tardiness, behavior, personal development activities, etc.
13. Provide all materials, included but not limited to books, resources, etc. to students on time.
14. Provide all materials, included but not limited to teaching material, resources, etc. to teachers.
15. Prepare, maintain and update all data, including but not limited to, students’ details, staff details, activities conducted in the school (primary/secondary), etc.
16. Assist in monitoring and assessing student progress
17. Assists in resolving conflicts and managing crises.
Academics:
18. Establish high standards of teaching and learning practices in the school (primary/secondary).
19. Work with HODs to discuss strategies to enhance teaching and learning practices in the school (primary/secondary) as well as improve the quality of skills learnt by students.
20. Work with SENCO to provide adequate learning support to G&T as well as SEN students.
21. Work with Head of Innovation to enhance the life skills of students and provide adequate opportunities to students for developing positive attitude and maintain a healthy ethos.
22. Work with Counselors regularly to track and improve students behavior and performance
Communication
23. Meet with parents and students regularly for, but not limited to, discuss student performance, discipline issues, and other relevant matters
24. Conduct regular meetings as per the scheduled calendar with internal and external stakeholders to ensure high quality of teaching-learning and pastoral care practices.
25. Communicate through social media of the events and happenings of the school (primary/secondary) through appropriate channels established.
Staff Development
26. Provide PDP to all staff at the beginning of year to ensure good performance.
27. Provide Support Plans to staff with regard to improve their areas of weakness in performing their duties.
28. Maintain healthy and positive environment among staff and take necessary action to ensure proper behavior and performance by staff in the school (primary/secondary).
29. Train the staff working in the school (primary/secondary)/department and accountable for ensuring 25 hours of training delivered to all staff.
