About Amber: PROJECT AMBER (Accelerated Mission for Better Employment and Retention) is a joint initiative of the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and Generation India Foundation (GIF) under the aegis of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE).
This project is co-funded by MSDE (under SANKALP programme) and private philanthropy and aims to train 30,000 youth, 50% of whom will be women trainees. Generations holistic 7-step skilling methodology will be utilised to drive higher quality skilling, improved employment, and retention outcomes. Number Require: 2 Qualification: Bachelors or higher degree in any discipline Experience required: 2-6 years of experience of delivering English training to adult learners Position type: Contractual Trainer Salary: As per the market standards 1 to 2 years worked in Customer facing roles (Customer care, Retail, restaurants etc.) Required Skills: Excellent command over English and communication skills – Both oral and written Competency in Microsoft office skills (Excel/Word and PowerPoint) Core Competencies: Motivational Fit Commit to and empathize with young people and disconnected populations Work successfully in a fast-paced, start-up environment Fulfil the expectations of the instructor role inside and outside of the Generation classroom. Delivery of Skills-based Training Follow the overarching structure and flow of a curriculum.
Engage participants in active thinking and participation. Deliver instruction that is rigorous, relevant, and appropriate for adults. Commitment to Reflection and Growth
