Ahmedabad University is launching a new School of Public Health in April 2023. The School aims to improve health and the environment locally as well as nationally and globally, to train leaders who can develop wholistic solutions to interdisciplinary problems pertinent to the 21st century, and to educate and inspire individuals, communities and organizations. The School of Public Health will be recruiting faculty at all levels, full-time tenure-track faculty as well as part-time faculty, and also engaging visiting faculty. Initial focus areas include environmental health, data science, and executive education, and long term goals are to expand to a comprehensive and globally impactful School of Public Health. The School will offer an unprecedented opportunity for strong interdisciplinary enquiry with a low barrier to collaborative teaching/inquiry/research, directed by a desire to address complex, at-scale societal challenge.
