Job Description
The selected candidate will develop a structure for the humanities curriculum for all classes based on the importance of issues in everyday life, key skills required to address them, and the excitement of finding things out. He/She will then proceed to elaborate a syllabus, a reading and audio-visual list, and a discussion and research-based pedagogy and an appropriate assessment scheme and training programme for teachers.
Skills and Qualifications
An avid reader of history, geography, politics and economics with the analytical mind required to establish a curriculum. Experience in education or training in school; good general knowledge; and the ability to work hard without day to day supervision. Excellent communications skills are essential. Age 30-45. Terms negotiable.
