Job Description

• Prepare and arrange art materials and art equipment in the classroom for students to use

• Deliver lectures to students on art, art techniques, art history and aesthetics
• Give drawing and painting demonstrations to students to teach them art techniques
• Instruct students in working in different drawing, painting, and colouring techniques
• Discuss various artistic approaches and traditions and encourage students to express themselves artistically
• Provide instruction in the use of pencils, pens, charcoal, brushes, watercolours, acrylic colours, oil colours and other art materials
• Assign art projects to students, grade the finished art projects, conduct art exams and maintain records of the students’ progress
• Organise art exhibitions to display the artworks of students and help them develop their art portfolios

• Support the branch administration in developing art programmes, attend faculty meetings and participate in parent-teacher discussions
• Teaching drawing and painting to all age groups in all mediums
• To be a faculty/teacher, mentor, and guide to students, to be able to teach online as well as offline
• Plan lessons and assignments, Work with colleagues to develop or modify the curriculum,
• Assess students progress by grading papers, tests, and other work
• Stay informed about changes and innovations in their field
• Conduct research and experiments to advance knowledge in their field
• Qualifications Required
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Basic computer skills required
• Preferred Diploma / Degreein ATD/BFA/MFA/Art & Craft / Handicraft (for DIY Handicraft teacher)

• Pencil & Colour Pencil Drawing (Free Hand Drawing, Still Life, Object Drawing, Portrait, Figure Drawing & Realistic Drawing)
• Paintings (Acryclic, Water Colour, Poster & Oil)
• Art & Craft ( Tanjore Painting, Kerala Mural, Fabric Painting, Glass Painting, Metal Embossing, Lippan Art, Madhubani Art, Kalamkari Art, Clay Moudling, Paper Works, Thread Work etc)

Job Types: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

Salary: Up to ₹39,885.00 per month
