Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Admissions Officer role based at Oakridge International School in Visakhapatnam. The Admissions Officer is responsible for managing the end-to-end admissions process, including responding to inquiries, guiding families through application requirements, scheduling and conducting school tours, and coordinating entrance assessments and interviews. The role involves maintaining accurate applicant records, preparing admission-related documentation, and ensuring timely communication with prospective students and families. The Admissions Officer collaborates closely with academic staff and school leadership to align admissions decisions with school policies and standards, and supports outreach activities such as open houses, information sessions, and community events. The position requires a professional, service-oriented approach to represent the school’s values and uphold a positive experience for all applicants.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills and a demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
• Candidates should possess International Admissions and Education-related experience, preferably in schools offering global curricula or international programs.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear spoken and written English, and the ability to present information confidently to diverse audiences.
• Candidates should possess Customer Service skills, with a focus on responsiveness, empathy, and maintaining a welcoming admissions environment.
• Administration, Business, or a related field; experience in school admissions or student recruitment is highly beneficial.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities, attention to detail, and proficiency in using admissions or CRM software and standard office tools.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment and uphold non-discriminatory, inclusive admissions practices.
