Job Description – Regional HR Head

ROLE DETAILS

Role Title – Regional Sales HR Head

Grade – GM

Business – Cement

Department – HR

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE (This section describes the basic reason why the role exists)

Leading the Recruitment Process and Manpower Planning for sales employees of the cluster.

The incumbent will be assisting Head Commercial HR in effective implementation of various HR activities like Compensation, Performance Appraisal, Talent Management, Employee Engagement, CTC computation, etc., of cluster staff and officers of sales as per organization requirement.

CRITICAL ACCOUNTABILITIES (This section lists down the most significant responsibilities of the role which have a clear end result for the achievement of which the role holder will be held accountable)

Key Areas of Accountability

• HR Policies and Systems

Plan and implement HR policies and programs to improve zonal HR performance and employee productivity

• Recruitment, Selection & Induction

Drive recruitment efforts, organizing and coordinating selection and induction of employees for the cluster as per business requirements

• Training and Development

Organize and conduct training programs to suit cluster training needs

• Performance Management

Plan and ensure the timely implementation of the annual performance appraisal process for the cluster

• Talent Management & Employee Satisfaction & Engagement

Implement talent management activities, execution of employee engagement plans and employee satisfaction initiatives for the cluster

• Statutory compliance & Safety

Drive compliance with statutory norms and regulations related to all offices in the cluster and the work force across the cluster including employees of third party rolls.

KEY areas/ factors/ conditions in which incumbent should have experience

• Prior Hands on Experience in business partnering with the sales population
• Good stakeholder management skills
• Knowledge on various global benchmarks
• Full understanding of world standards and safety practices in the various processes

ROLEHOLDER REQUIREMENTS (This section lists the acceptable proficiency / threshold in terms of education, qualifications, training and experience necessary to enable the role holder to perform effectively in the role)

Qualifications:

MBA from top HR institutes like TISS / XLRI / XISS / MDI / SIBM

Experience:

• Experience 15+ years in relevant sectors with experience of handling sales HR function
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with ability to organize and analyze data
• Must have worked at regional level
