We’re currently looking for an Education Manager on a full time, permanent basis. This position sits within the Learning & Education Development team. This role would ideally be based in Delhi or Mumbai but we are flexible on an alternative location.

The Education Manager will be responsible for executing regional strategies and ensuring the implementation of professional learning and education services in the region.

The Job

Reporting to the Regional Head of Learning and Education, on a day-to-day basis, you’ll be involved in the following:

  • Devise and implement education strategy and plan focusing on India Market with special attention to India Growth Project
  • Planning and execution of strategies to improve progression including increasing exam entries, exam performance and reducing dormancy and conducting regular review on the progression performance
  • Work across different teams and partners to ensure successful adoption of Qualification the Future (QtF) changes, including but not limited to FoLA, SBL pre-seen materials, etc.
  • Maximize the effectiveness of central resources and integrate with local initiatives by working closely with CQI. Provide the comprehensive and prompt feedback/thoughts to get India specific support where appropriate
  • Analyse and evaluate the issues and develop and deliver the solutions that address the India-specific problems cross markets. This includes to develop accelerate learning strategy by closely working with Relationships to provide an integrated study journey and systematic learning solution, and other alternatives to improve the exam performance
  • Use PowerBI data insights to encourage students to make effective usage of key learning resource (e.g. study hub, practice platform, and marking campaign) by working across teams internally and externally and leverage various social media channels
  • Support key ALPs and universities by providing guidance in innovating teaching approach, exam delivery, and joint promotion of learning/teaching support
  • Support educational elements of market development plans of India by supporting Business Relationship Team in facilitating education providers join ACCA
  • Enhance readiness of Qualification changes. Plan and lead ACCA educational events incl. India Tutor Forum, national train-the-trainer events (TtT), Member Affiliate Tutor community
  • Develop and manage local tutor community (across ALPs/universities) to enhance tutors’ learning and sharing, commitment and innovation.

The Person

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Strong working experience within and good understanding of professional education
  • Practical experiences in leading projects, preferably within education/training environment
  • Experience of developing local ACCA programmes or products is a plus
  • Be adept to agile and lean development approaches
  • A problem-solving approach, with strong analytic and decision-making abilities
  • Experience of product pricing and forecasting
  • Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal, including producing and delivering engaging presentations
  • Excellent active listening skills
  • Must be a team player and able to work with and through others
  • Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Able to work effectively at all levels in the organisation
  • Self-driven and excellent time management skills and can work under pressure
  • Proactive, resilient and resourceful.
