HR MANAGER-
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION : Academy of Applied Arts is a premium institution for Interior Design and it’s specialisation is of Visual Merchandising, Retail Design and Luxury Residential Design. Our decade long experience of providing design solutions to individuals, brands and companies across the globe enable us to bring our well honed expertise to India. We seek a committed and zealous HR Manager who is expected to provide administrative and knowledge support to the HR Department. The HR Manager must be creative and should enjoy working in an environment that is mission-driven, result-driven and community oriented.
DUTIES :

- Academy of Applied Arts , being a growing organisation would need the HR Manager to constantly hire new staff members and faculty members for the Academy.
- Finds companies and interior design firms where we can provide our students opportunity for internships and placements.
- Enhances the organisation’s human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.
- Cultivates professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
- Proactive and customer focused professional to drive internship initiatives for academy graduates. Strategize and achieve successful career outcomes for the graduating class through a robust campus recruitment process. Achieve individual targets assigned for the annual recruitment process & internships.
- Helping students create their resumes and cover letters, find internships and apply for jobs in their fields are all part of his/her duties. They should also provide mock interviews to give students practice answering common questions and provide information about companies hiring in the area
- Having strong relationships with employers helps placement officers set up local partnerships with companies where students can do internships. They also recommend students to these employers after they learn what skills companies prefer from candidates
- To conduct research to learn the skills, abilities, and credentials employers seek for graduates of the institute . They use the institute’s diploma and course descriptions, in addition to coordinating with professors and department heads, to find relevant job titles and industries for graduates
- Planning campus hiring events like job fairs gives students exposure to potential jobs and helps local companies find suitable candidates.
