The Role

We are looking for a Lead Academics who will own the academic experience of our B.Tech CS (AI & ML) programme from the ground up. This is not a conventional faculty role — you will teach, design curriculum, mentor students, and work directly with the Founders to shape what learning looks like at Quad AI. The ideal candidate is someone who loves being in the classroom as much as they love building systems that make learning better.

What You’ll DoTeaching & Instruction

•       Teach core and elective subjects across the B.Tech CS (AI & ML) programme — including but not limited to Machine Learning, DSA, DBMS, MERN Full Stack, Python Programming, and Mathematics for AI (any one).

•       Design and deliver lectures, labs, and project-based learning sessions that go beyond textbooks

•       Create assignments, problem sets, and assessments that test real understanding, not rote recall

•       Conduct regular doubt sessions, office hours, and one-on-one mentoring for students

Curriculum Design & Academic Planning

•       Collaborate with the Founders to design and continuously improve the B.Tech CS (AI & ML) curriculum

•       Map course outcomes to industry skills and ensure the programme stays current with the AI/ML landscape

•       Build a structured semester-wise academic calendar with clear learning milestones

•       Source and curate high-quality learning resources — papers, datasets, tools, and industry case studies

•       Identify and coordinate with visiting faculty, industry practitioners, and guest lecturers

Student Development & Mentorship

•       Serve as an academic mentor to a cohort of students — tracking their progress and intervening early when needed

•       Guide students on capstone projects, research problems, and internship preparation

•       Support students in building strong portfolios, GitHub profiles, and project presentations

•       Foster a culture of intellectual curiosity, rigour, and peer learning within the classroom

Academic Operations

•       Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and academic performance

•       Coordinate with the admissions team to provide academic clarity to prospective students and parents

•       Support academic accreditation, compliance, and documentation requirements

•       Contribute to building Quad AI’s academic reputation through content, talks, or community engagement

Who You Are

•       B.Tech / M.Tech or M.Sc in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Mathematics, or a closely related field

•       Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience — in industry, academia, research, or a combination

•       Strong command over core AI/ML concepts: supervised and unsupervised learning, neural networks, NLP, computer vision, and model evaluation

•       Solid programming foundations in Python; familiarity with frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn

•       You genuinely enjoy teaching — you light up when a concept clicks for a student

•       Ability to explain complex ideas simply, adapt your style to different learners, and make sessions engaging

•       Comfortable working in a startup environment where structures are built, not inherited

•       Prior teaching, tutoring, or mentoring experience is strongly preferred

Nice to Have

•       Experience working at an AI / ML company, research lab, or EdTech platform

•       Published work, open-source contributions, or a strong technical online presence

•       Exposure to curriculum design, LMS platforms, or academic programme management

•       Familiarity with tools like Jupyter, Colab, Weights & Biases, or Hugging Face
