Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced postgraduate teacher (PGT) specializing in chemistry to join our dynamic faculty as PGT Chemistry. The ideal candidate will have a profound understanding of the CBSE curriculum and a proven track record of nurturing students’ academic growth and holistic development.

Responsibilities:

• Teach chemistry to students in classes XI and XII in accordance with the CBSE curriculum.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth.
• Use a variety of instructional strategies, resources, and technology to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.
• Assess students’ progress regularly through formative and summative assessments, and provide timely and constructive feedback.
• Encourage critical thinking, inquiry-based learning, and scientific inquiry skills among students.
• Foster a passion for chemistry by organizing and participating in extracurricular activities, science fairs, and competitions.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary teaching approaches and share best practices.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding academic progress, concerns, and achievements.
• Stay updated with advancements in the field of chemistry education and incorporate relevant changes into teaching practices.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in chemistry or a related field.
• B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in CBSE schools, preferably at the senior secondary level.
• Excellent subject knowledge and understanding of the CBSE curriculum and assessment patterns.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
• Proficiency in using educational technology and digital tools for teaching and learning.
