Primary Purpose The Director School of Engineering Management will be the Head of the School reporting to the Secretary Governing Council. S he will occupy a strategic leadership position with the responsibility of building a world class School of Engineering Management in India and achieve high rankings by focusing on development of high quality education. S he will be required to develop facilitate broad range of institutional linkages with multiple stakeholders students faculty staff and industry and corporate supporters to accomplish the above stated objectives. Key Result Areas The specific duties and areas of responsibility for the Director will include providing academic leadership and administrative control of the School of Engineering Management Core focus being the academic development and hiring of faculty. Curriculum and modules development. Encourage R D based on the course design and engage local communities government bodies and industries. Student activities and training programs. Creating a modern educational ecosystem that brings all elements of education and training together into a seamless whole. Develop strong relationship and alliances with other Schools and Engineering Management Institutions. An approach to develop competencies for employability integrated into education curricula and ensuring placements. Job Title Director Engineering Management Reporting to Secretary . Administrative Responsibilities General supervision and control over the affairs of the School leadership management and development of the School and the realization of its stated mission. To be the principal officer of the School and to be responsible to the Management for the organization and conduct of the business of the Engineering Management School. Develop the plans for the growth of the School consistent with the vision mission goals of the School. The Director will be the principal academic and administrative officer of the School of Engineering Management. He She will participate in the appointment of Faculty. Responsible for the strategies of the School including watching market and developing new programs to meet the new market requirements. The Director will be expected to represent the School of Engineering Management both within the country and overseas. The Director is expected to ensure that the provisions of the Rules of the Engineering Management School are duly observed and implemented and he she shall have all powers in this regard. Exercise all other powers as may be delegated to him her by the Secretary Governing Council. Exercise such other powers and perform such other functions as may be prescribed by the Rules and Regulations Management.
