Responsibilities

1. Help support and service relationships with a network of Students and Parents, meet student recruitment targets on a Monthly/ Semesterly basis.

2. Provide counselling to regular students and parent visits and hold training sessions for students / schools.

3. Support the consultancy in promotional activities including Fairs, Exhibitions and Open days – Online and Offline.

4. Support students right from the Admissions until the Visa stage and further.

5. Collaborate with the wider Sales and Admissions teams to follow up enquiries and applications to

convert and recruit new students.

6. Maintain an up-to-date record of the student recruitment and admissions process in the CRM.

7.Take a lead on follow-up activities to ensure high application to enrolment conversion rate, one of

the key priorities for this role.

8.Work closely with the team to strengthen existing and develop new links with schools, institutions and

colleges in the region.

9. Build strong relationships with partner universities and colleges responsible for the region.

10. Work closely with the team and the Branch Manager to align the target recruitment of students with the set target for the Centre.

11. To ensure that all the efforts are helping achieve the targets.

12. Provision of regular activity reports to the Branch manager as and when required.

– Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge – for Education Counselor Role

§ Excellent communication skill (especially listening skills) is highly required for an education counselor to have to be good on the job

§ Patience should be a virtue worn at all times by individuals who work as education counselors

§ Ability to discern body language of students is also important

§ Ability to be proactive and not reactive at all times is of great importance

§ Interpersonal (mediation) skills is needed for education counselor to be able to solve problems that may arise between parents and students.

§ Counselor should be friendly and accommodating

§ 5 years of working in a similar role or capacity

§ A university degree or equivalent

§ Ability to work independently as well as in a team

§ Flexible approach to working, excellent time management skills

§ Ambitious and results orientated

§ Experience in the international education sector

§ Self-motivated with an ability to thrive under pressure

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to ₹25,000.00 per month
