Position: Field Associate
Employment Type: 2-3 Months Contract, which could convert to full-time employment
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 3-4 hours daily

Compensation: ₹ 5 to 12.5 thousand per month based on skill set & experience plus travel and communication reimbursements

3.2.1 Education Foundation aims to ensure that every child from underserved communities can read with understanding & solve basic Maths problems. We support & empower all the critical stakeholders in a child’s life – teachers, school leaders & parents – towards this critical national mission of improving Foundational Literacy & Numeracy (FLN) learning outcomes. We have been delivering an unparalleled impact on student learning & have impacted lakhs of students & thousands of teachers across hundreds of schools through our various initiatives since our inception in 2012.
As part of a national initiative to extend the benefits of EdTech products to low-income communities, we will be testing the adoption of such a product (a mobile phone education application) among our children in low-fee schools. This product will be offered free of cost to the students for an entire year. We will study usage and learning outcomes from using this product at home.
Position Summary
The Field Associate will be instrumental in:
Getting every possible student in our partner schools to engage with the EdTech product
Impacting learning outcomes
Areas of Responsibility
Get every possible student in our partner schools to register & engage with the EdTech product (a mobile phone education application).
Visit teachers in schools across low-income communities & homes of some students as required.
Conduct teacher & parent orientations & other activities within communities/schools.
Encourage & motivate parents & teachers by sending sms/WhatsApp (reminders), calls, etc.

Have verbal fluency in Hindi & Kannada.
