Job Description
We are looking for a Lead – Learning Experience Designer and Facilitator, who can strategize, design, facilitate and drive learning initiatives in a global, fast-paced scale-up work environment. The candidate will work closely with the Global Talent Management team, HR Business Partners, business leaders, and SMEs to understand and analyze learning needs, design compelling content and facilitate capability-building sessions, thereby increasing the readiness of the talent pipeline. Additional responsibilities include designing for large organization development/change projects, creating ways to enhance employee experience, etc. The candidate will report to the Senior Manager in the L&D team, based out of Chennai, India.
Responsibilities
Work closely with the Global Talent Management team, HR Business Partners, business leaders, and SMEs to understand and analyze learning needs across various job levels based on mapping of competencies.
Design compelling user-friendly learning content and experiential learning journeys.
Design rapid e-learning content using authoring tools such as Articulate/Vyond etc.
Facilitate workshops to enhance the capability of people at all levels of the organization.
Consult with key stakeholders in identifying appropriate learning intervention.
Evaluate the impact & efficacy of all learning initiatives.
Monitor, track and analyze post-course effectiveness of all learning initiatives.
Identify, onboard, and manage vendors as and when required.
Manage multiple learning projects running in parallel for various cohorts.
Contribute to the learning strategy & roadmap.
Build, maintain and scale the learning calendar.
Qualifications
Proven experience designing and facilitating virtual, blended and in-classroom workshops.
8-10 years of hands-on experience in relevant HR fields: Talent Management, L&D, and Instructional Design.
A thorough understanding of ‘modern’ adult learning principles and practices and their application in the workplace to create great learning ‘experiences’.
Experience conducting training needs assessments.
Experience in applying ‘Design Thinking’ concepts in learning, ensuring that learners’ needs and preferences are at the forefront of all learning initiatives.
Experience assessing learning effectiveness to develop solutions that positively impact learner performance.
Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
Experience with end-to-end e-learning program design including conceptualizing, scripting, storyboarding and designing using e-learning authoring tools such as Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, and animated video creation tools such as Vyond.
Strong mental agility to adapt to a fast-paced growing scale-up.
Ability to collaborate with and influence stakeholders including senior leadership.
Experience managing projects of small to large scope, working cross-functionally with multiple teams and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Visual Design and ability to create brand-conscious, media-rich material to complement learning content is preferable.
SaaS Industry experience is preferable.
MBA OR Degree in HR/ Psychology / ID/ ISTD or related field is preferable.
