Larkin University College of Pharmacy (LUCOP) invites applications for the position of Assistant Dean of Student Success and Engagement. This leadership role is responsible for advancing initiatives that support student success, engagement, and admissions within the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) and Graduate programs. The Assistant Dean will collaborate with faculty, staff, and university partners to enhance student experience and support student progression throughout the curriculum and admissions processes. The position reports to the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, serves on the College Executive Council, and holds a faculty appointment.
LUCOP’s accelerated Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program is fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) and is an integrated three-year curriculum. Larkin University is a private not-for-profit 501(c)(3) university and consists of the College of Pharmacy, College of Biomedical Sciences, School of Physician Assistant Studies, and School of Dental Medicine. Job Requirements
The successful candidate will hold a doctoral degree (PhD, PharmD, or equivalent) in pharmacy practice, social and administrative sciences, and pharmaceutical sciences with academic experience in teaching, research, and service. Candidates should be able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, strong communication and problem-solving skills are required. Preferred qualifications shall include experience supporting student success initiatives and familiarity with accreditation standards. This position is open to all candidates authorized to work in the United States.
