Harvest International School is seeking to engage a highly experienced and accomplished IB Academic Consultant / Strategic Academic Partner to support the successful implementation, enhancement, and continuous development of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), and Diploma Programme (DP).
The selected consultant will serve as a strategic academic partner, working closely with school leadership to strengthen curriculum design, instructional excellence, faculty capacity, assessment practices, and overall programme quality in alignment with the latest IB standards and educational best practices.
Key Responsibilities
IB Programme Development & Implementation
Provide strategic guidance for the implementation, enhancement, and continuous improvement of PYP, MYP, and DP programmes.
Support IB authorization, evaluation, and compliance processes.
Ensure alignment with current IB Standards and Practices and relevant Indian educational and regulatory requirements.
Develop and review programme structures, policies, and academic frameworks.
Curriculum Design & Academic Excellence
Lead curriculum planning, mapping, and articulation across PYP, MYP, and DP.
Establish coherent progression pathways to ensure smooth student transitions between programmes.
Strengthen inquiry-based learning, concept-driven teaching, and interdisciplinary learning approaches.
Facilitate curriculum innovation through academic research and development initiatives.
Faculty Development & Capacity Building
Design and deliver professional development programmes for teachers and academic leaders.
Mentor IB Coordinators, Heads of Departments, and instructional leaders.
Support faculty in implementing best practices in teaching, learning, and assessment.
Build sustainable internal capacity for long-term programme success.
Assessment & Quality Assurance
Develop assessment frameworks aligned with IB philosophy and programme requirements.
Support moderation, standardization, reporting, and data-informed decision-making processes.
Conduct academic audits and programme reviews to identify areas for improvement.
Establish systems for continuous quality assurance and academic excellence.
Strategic Advisory & Benchmarking
Benchmark school practices against leading IB schools in India and internationally.
Advise on emerging educational trends, innovations, and global best practices.
Support strategic planning and the development of academic excellence roadmaps.
Provide recommendations for enhancing student outcomes and programme effectiveness.

Desired Qualifications & Experience
The ideal candidate should possess:
Minimum 8–15+ years of leadership experience within the IB ecosystem.
Demonstrated expertise across one or more IB programmes (PYP, MYP, DP).
Experience in senior academic leadership roles such as:
IB Head of School
IB Programme Coordinator (PYP/MYP/DP)
Academic Director
Curriculum Developer
IB Authorization/Evaluation Consultant
Research & Development Lead
Proven track record of supporting IB implementation, authorization, evaluation, and programme enhancement.
Experience working with reputed IB schools in India and/or internationally.
Strong understanding of inquiry-based, concept-driven, and student-centred learning.
Excellent facilitation, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to drive institutional change and academic transformation.
