Role Description As a Volunteer at harVVest, you will support the team in delivering engaging and accessible financial education content to a broad audience. This part-time, remote role may involve assisting with research on financial topics, preparing learning materials, supporting online sessions or webinars, and helping respond to learner questions. You may contribute to creating or organizing digital resources, such as presentations, guides, or social media posts, to promote financial literacy. Volunteers will collaborate with the core team to improve existing content, gather feedback from learners, and help build an inclusive learning community. This role offers exposure to financial education, content development, and community engagement while contributing to a social-impact mission.
Qualifications
- Interest in financial concepts such as investing, trading, and basic personal finance, with a willingness to learn and grow in these areas.
- Strong communication skills, including clear written and spoken English, and the ability to explain ideas in simple, understandable terms.
- Basic digital skills, including comfort using online collaboration tools, video conferencing platforms, and common office applications.
- Organizational and time-management abilities, with reliability in meeting agreed timelines for a part-time, remote volunteer commitment.
- A collaborative, learner-focused mindset and openness to feedback; prior experience in teaching, mentoring, content creation, or community work is a plus but not required.
