As a Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Trainer, you will help professionals build emotional clarity, manage workplace challenges effectively, and respond intentionally during important conversations, conflicts, decisions, and leadership situations.
This role focuses on applying emotional intelligence to real workplace scenarios and is not a therapy role.
Key Responsibilities:
A. One-on-One Emotional Coaching
1. Work closely with professionals to help them manage emotions in high-pressure situations
2. Guide learners through workplace scenarios such as difficult conversations, conflict management, and boundary setting
3. Help individuals stay calm, grounded, and articulate during stressful situations
4. Support professionals in developing intentional and effective communication habits
B. Emotional Pattern Awareness
5. Help learners identify patterns such as overthinking, self-doubt, hesitation, and emotional reactivity
6. Support individuals in replacing automatic emotional responses with intentional behaviours
7. Encourage self-awareness and emotional resilience in workplace interactions
C. Confidence, Boundaries & Assertiveness
8. Enable professionals to build self-trust and inner confidence
9. Help learners establish clear personal and professional boundaries
10. Develop assertiveness skills that are respectful, firm, and non-aggressive
D. Practical Tools for Real-Life Application
11. Equip learners with practical emotional reframing and grounding techniques
12. Introduce pause-and-respond frameworks for managing workplace situations effectively
13. Ensure each coaching session leads to actionable and practical workplace application
Required Skills:
1. Strong communication skills with the ability to facilitate reflective and meaningful conversations
2. Ability to connect emotional intelligence with leadership effectiveness and workplace outcomes
3. Strong cognitive ability to handle complexity, nuance, and ambiguity effectively
4. Adaptability to customize coaching approaches based on individual learner needs
5. Deep empathy combined with accountability and growth-oriented guidance
6. 2-7 years of experience in coaching, training, facilitation, teaching, or related fields preferred
