Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Admissions Counselor role based at Arena Animation in Kozhikode. The Admissions Counselor will guide prospective learners through the admission process by providing accurate information on courses, career paths, and training outcomes. Daily responsibilities include handling walk-in and phone inquiries, conducting counseling sessions, and following up with leads to support enrollment decisions. The role involves coordinating and participating in outreach activities such as seminars, school/college visits, and events to generate interest in Arena’s programs. The Admissions Counselor will also maintain updated records of inquiries and admissions, collaborate with academic and administrative teams, and ensure a positive, welcoming experience for all prospective learners.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal communication and general communication skills to engage effectively with students, families, and stakeholders.
• Customer service skills to provide supportive, responsive, and professional assistance throughout the admission process.
• Sales skills to manage inquiries, conduct follow-ups, and convert interested prospects into enrolled learners ethically and transparently.
• Understanding of the education sector and interest in animation, VFX, gaming, or related creative fields.
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, preferably in education, business, communications, or a related area.
• Ability to work on-site in Kozhikode, manage time effectively, and handle multiple inquiries and tasks simultaneously.
• Basic computer proficiency (email, spreadsheets, CRM or student management systems) and familiarity with online communication tools.
• Prior experience in admissions, counseling, career guidance, or academic coordination is an advantage.
