The Role

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Visiting Faculty – Soft Skills & Employability Training to design and deliver engaging learning experiences that prepare students for successful careers in the creative, media, design, animation, VFX, gaming, technology, and related industries.

Reporting to the Academic and Training Leadership Team, this role will focus on developing students’ communication, professional, interpersonal, and workplace readiness skills. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of corporate training experience and academic engagement, helping students bridge the gap between education and industry expectations.

What You’ll Do

• Design and deliver high-impact training sessions on soft skills, communication, and career readiness.
• Facilitate workshops on professional communication, presentation skills, public speaking, and workplace effectiveness.
• Conduct mock interviews, group discussions, and career preparation activities.
• Guide students in resume building, LinkedIn profile development, and personal branding.
• Develop and implement interactive learning methodologies including role plays, case studies, simulations, and experiential learning activities.
• Mentor students on professional etiquette, workplace behaviour, collaboration, and leadership.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support individual development.
• Partner with academic teams and placement departments to align training programs with industry requirements.
• Continuously update training content based on evolving workplace trends, employer expectations, and emerging skill requirements.
• Foster a culture of confidence, professionalism, accountability, and lifelong learning among students.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in Soft Skills Training, Corporate Training, Learning & Development, Behavioural Training, or Employability Skills Development.
• Experience working with both students and corporate professionals.
• Strong facilitation, presentation, coaching, and mentoring capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to engage in diverse student groups through interactive and practical learning approaches.
• Understanding of current recruitment practices, interview processes, and workplace expectations.
• Experience conducting training programs in educational institutions, universities, or skill development organisations is preferred.
• Relevant certifications in Training, Learning & Development, Coaching, Communication, or Behavioural Skills will be an advantage.
