Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Science Teacher role based in Pune City. The Science Teacher will plan and deliver engaging science lessons aligned with the school curriculum, with a focus on concepts from general science and relevant topics in physics and basic mathematics. Responsibilities include preparing detailed lesson plans, designing classroom activities and experiments, assessing student performance, and providing constructive feedback to support individual learning needs. The role involves maintaining an inclusive learning environment, managing classroom discipline, and integrating appropriate teaching aids and technology to enhance understanding. The Science Teacher will also participate in parent–teacher meetings, departmental planning, staff training, and school events as required.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Science Education, with the ability to teach core concepts clearly and accurately.
• Subject expertise in Physics and basic Mathematics relevant to school-level science instruction.
• Recognized as a Qualified Teacher with appropriate teaching certifications and/or a degree in Science, Education, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Lesson Planning, including setting learning objectives, structuring units, and creating assessments.
• Effective classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills to engage diverse learners.
• Comfort using educational technology and digital resources to support teaching and learning.
• Experience teaching at the K–12 level, preferably in CBSE/ICSE or similar curriculum frameworks, is an advantage.
• Commitment to continuous professional development, student well-being, and collaborative work with colleagues and school leadership.
