Job Title: Intern – Teaching Assistant

Reports To: Faculty

Work Location: Bangalore

Wadhwani NEN empowers professionals, post-college, college and pre-college students with knowledge and skills to create high-potential startups. College Entrepreneurship Programs for students with 360-degree transformation and real-world learning through Courses and Startup Labs

Wadhwani NEN Programs:
NextGen: Activate (for those in the early semester of the graduate program) and Ignite (for professionals, PGs and those in advanced years of their graduate program)

Foundational Course: from a business model, MVP and Practice Venture (PV) to a Potential Real Venture (PRV)

Advanced Course: from a PRV to a Validated Real Venture (VRV) with funding potential

Emphasis on ‘Do’ pedagogy through videos, activities and assignments, and PV pitches

Job Overview or Role Context:
We are looking for a high energy, passionate individual excited to work in the entrepreneurship and startup domain. As a fundamental part of the program team, your role would be to help with the operation of programs that are being implemented with Institutes and Incubators. The focus of the role will be to execute online classes, masterclasses and support assessments and evaluations smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Note: This position is for a period of 6 months

Work with the faculty team in executing all aspects of the NEN program

You will be a teaching assistant to the Faculty, aiding in all aspects of teaching:

Managing learning calendars and communication

Assignment evaluation

Documenting and updating Feedback

Engagement activities

Managing the learning platforms

Qualifications/Credentials:

• The candidate should be a Ph.D Scholar or Pursuing Ph.D
• An exposure to an entrepreneurship course is preferred.
• Proven Academic Record
• Must have an inclination towards teaching and facilitation.

Must have an entrepreneurial spirit

Must be incredibly organised and able to help others get organised

Must have ‘no job is too small’ attitude

Must be willing to take on responsibilities beyond own job description when necessary
