PYP Music Teacher – Chennai
We are seeking a passionate and creative Music Teacher to join our IB Primary Years Programme (PYP). The role involves delivering inquiry-based music learning experiences, integrating music into Units of Inquiry, and nurturing creativity, expression, and performance skills in young learners.
Key Requirements:
- Degree in Music/Performing Arts
- Experience with primary students; IB PYP exposure preferred
- Strong skills in vocal and/or instrumental music
- Strong communication skills in English
- Understanding of inquiry-based, student-centred learning
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging PYP-aligned music lessons
- Integrate music into transdisciplinary learning
- Prepare students for performances and school events
- Collaborate with homeroom teachers and contribute to the school community
