Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mentoring role based in New Delhi. The mentor will guide UPSC aspirants through all stages of their preparation, including planning study schedules, clarifying concepts, and recommending resources. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting one-on-one and small-group mentoring sessions, reviewing answer scripts, and providing detailed feedback on test performance and writing skills. The mentor will track each learner’s progress, identify learning gaps, and suggest targeted improvements. The role also involves coordinating with faculty and academic teams, contributing to improvement of mentoring frameworks, and maintaining accurate records of student interactions and performance.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of the UPSC Civil Services Examination pattern, syllabus, and preparation strategies.
• Excellent communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills to guide and motivate diverse learners.
• Ability to analyze answer scripts and test performance, and provide clear, constructive, and actionable feedback.
• Experience in academic mentoring, coaching, teaching, or guidance for competitive examinations is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple mentees and schedules efficiently.
• Graduate degree in any discipline; background in humanities, social sciences, public administration, or related fields is an advantage.
• Previous UPSC preparation experience, including mains or interview stage, will be considered a strong plus.
• Comfort working in a structured, student-centric environment with a focus on outcomes and continuous improvement.
