Job Description:

MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul School, Pandharpur is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic PRT English Teacher to teach primary grade students. The ideal candidate should have a strong command of the English language and the ability to create an engaging and effective learning environment that supports the academic and overall development of students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver English lessons in accordance with the CBSE curriculum and school guidelines.
• Develop students’ reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills through interactive teaching methods.
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and teaching aids.
• Monitor and evaluate students’ academic progress and maintain relevant records.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment.
• Identify individual learning needs and provide appropriate support to students.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding students’ performance and development.
• Participate in school events, meetings, parent-teacher interactions, and professional development programmes.
• Integrate technology and innovative teaching practices to enhance learning outcomes.
• Uphold the values, policies, and standards of the institution.

Qualification:

• B.A. (English) / M.A. (English) from a recognized university.
• B.Ed. is mandatory.
• CTET qualification will be preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum 1–3 years of teaching experience as a Primary English Teacher in a reputed CBSE school.
• Freshers with relevant qualifications and excellent communication skills may also apply.

Skills Required:

• Excellent command over spoken and written English.
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in using modern teaching methodologies and educational technology.

Salary:

As per institutional norms and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
