MakersLoft is looking for an enterprising Business Operations Manager to manage and grow its after-school programs operations in Bangalore.
Location: Thubrahalli, Whitefield, Bangalore 560066
Responsibilities:
- Running training programs, summer camps and workshops at centres across the city
- Counselling parents, handling daily center operations, handling inquiries & walk-ins
- Hire and manage a team of teachers for various STEM courses conducted at mutiple locations across Bangalore
- Handling teacher and student schedules, allocating resources to various centres and maximizing productivity of training resources
- Ensure the profitability of training operations and achieve sales targets
- Handle operations at various partner centres. Be the primary point of contact for partners for class scheduling, fee collection, promotional activities etc.
- Partnering with schools and other institutes
Qualifications:
- Must have at least 3-5 years prior experience of running after-school activity centres / training institute / pre-school
- Education industry work experience is must.
- Demonstrated experience of running profitable business operation
- Ability to lead a team of teachers
- Excellent communication skills & inter-personal ability, multi-tasking ability
- There will be a fair amount of travel within the city to visit multiple centres across the city regularly, meet with schools, parents etc.

STEM Teacher NEW!
MakersLoft is looking for experienced teachers who can teach Science & technology in a fun and practical way through hands-on experiments using world-class STEM kits and platform.
Location: Thubrahalli, Whitefield, Bangalore 560066
Responsibilities:
- Teach STEM and robotics to students of grades 2-5 using STEM kits. Classes will be held online or in activity centres / schools across Bangalore
- Conduct workshops, summer camps and competitions
- Conduct students’ assessment and give feedback to parents
- Assist in educational events and activities
- Counsel students and parents about courses of MakersLoft
- Assist in developing and improving curriculum and course content
Training will be provided on the STEM kits, curriculum, content, pedagogy and processes that will be used to teach students.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2-3 years teaching experience
Preferred: Engineering / Computer Science / Physics / Mathematics. Other science stream can also apply.
Experienced in conducting hands-on science experiments and teaching in a practical, fun and playful manner
Should be able to engage children and make learning an enjoyable experience
Excellent English communication skills and interpersonal skills – should be able to establish good rapport with children and parents
Computer proficiency and tech savvy is required.
