Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Trivandrum for a Placement Officer at Offenso Hackers Academy.
The candidate will be responsible for conducting soft skills training, preparing students for interviews, coordinating placement activities, building employer relationships, and ensuring successful student placements.
Key Responsibilities
Soft Skills & Employability Training
* Conduct training sessions on communication skills, personality development, professional etiquette, and workplace readiness.
* Deliver training on interview skills, group discussions, presentation skills, and public speaking.
* Guide students in resume preparation, LinkedIn profile optimization, and job search strategies.
* Conduct mock interviews and provide constructive feedback.
* Assess student performance and create improvement plans.
Placement & Career Development
* Coordinate placement drives, recruitment events, and employer engagement activities.
* Develop and maintain relationships with companies and hiring partners.
* Source job opportunities and internship openings for students.
* Match student profiles with employer requirements and facilitate interviews.
* Track placement statistics and maintain placement records.
* Support students throughout the recruitment process until onboarding.
Student Mentorship
* Provide career guidance and counseling to students.
* Help students identify suitable career paths within Cyber Security and IT domains.
* Conduct career readiness workshops and placement orientation programs.
Required Skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong presentation and training abilities.
* Knowledge of recruitment and placement processes.
* Ability to build and maintain corporate relationships.
* Strong interpersonal and networking skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office and online collaboration tools.
* Ability to motivate and mentor students.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in educational institutions, training centers, or placement departments.
* Understanding of IT and Cyber Security career opportunities.
* Experience conducting soft skills and employability training sessions.
