1. Develop and implement policies and practices for the Curriculum Area.
2. Review and support the teachers and assessing the planning documents.
3. Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences.
4. Provide a variety of learning materials and resources for use in educational activities.
5. Identify and select different instructional resources and methods to meet students’ varying needs.
6. Provide guidance on the choice of appropriate teaching and learning methods to meet the needs of different students.
7. Use relevant technology to support instruction.
8. Observe and evaluate student’s performance and development.
9. Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment.
10. Support in auditing and developing assessment procedures to enhance the overall teaching and learning and achievement level of students in secondary school.
11. Support in implementing and analyzing CEM assessment data for accurate prediction and goal settings with students and parents.
12. Oversee the efficient management and maintenance of the physical environment in classrooms, working with staff to identify and plan for future needs.
13. Represent the Curriculum Area at all scheduled events.
14. Monitor the progress made in achieving Curriculum Area plans and targets and their effects on teaching and learning.
15. Ensure effective deployment of staff as per school’s stipulated contact ratio.
16. Facilitate performance development of the teaching staff in the Curriculum Area.
17. Responsible for budget forecasts and utilization for Curriculum Area.
18. Work closely with tutors and subject teachers to ensure adequate provision for students’ progress.
19. Develop a strategic view for the Curriculum Area, which supports the vision, ethos and policies of the school.
20. Provide quality assurance of teaching, learning, and pedagogical leadership to colleagues.
21. Monitor and evaluate all curriculum documentation to ensure that these are introduced within a supportive and challenging classroom environment.
22. Keep abreast of latest developments in the Curriculum Area.
23. Ensure that all staff establish a partnership with parents to involve them in their child’s learning.
24. Ensure that new teachers are appropriately trained, monitored, supported and assessed in relation to the teaching standards and competencies.
25. Provide reports and prepare other information for the Management Team as required.
26. Work in close coordination with the Secondary School Principal to ensure efficient adherence to school policies.
27. Be responsible for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people

Job Types: Full-time, Regular / Permanent
Salary: ₹20,000.00 – ₹50,000.00 per month
