Company Overview:RESPONSIBLE TO: Head of RecruitmentOUTLINE OF POST: Regent College London is looking for a Student Recruitment Officer to work as part of the student recruitment team and promote the college as a higher education destination for students from across the UK

The role holder will deliver activities to support recruitment for our range of courses

You will establish and maintain excellent relationships with key stakeholders to develop a sustainable pipeline of prospective students

You will be responsible for achieving challenging student recruitment targets through high quality activities and the provision of information, advice and guidance at schools, student finance and help with applications

You will be responsible of managing the entire recruitment journey from initial enquiry through to enrolment

You will have the opportunity to shape and improve processes and procedures which have a meaningful impact on the journey of prospective applicants.MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Delivery of student recruitment targetsDevelopment, agreement and delivery of student recruitment plans in line with agreed planTo give accurate information, advice and guidance to prospective students about courses / student life at Regent College London, the UCAS process, student finance and personal statementsManage the entire recruitment journey from initial enquiry to enrolmentManage enquiries for courses at Regent College London, ensuring a high standard of customer service is delivered and set protocols and processes are adhered toTo liaise with academic and professional staff regarding the delivery of recruitment and conversion activities both on and off campus and through online activityEngage with enquiries in the recruitment process, providing excellent customer servicePlanning and liaising with Marketing for online activities, such as webinars and social media activities, to support recruitment plansDevelop links and relationships with schools, colleges, alumni, institutions and other contacts to support recruitment activitiesUndertake duties, as required, in support of operational demands within the departmentSkills and experience required:Successful track record in direct salesProven work experience as a Student Recruitment OfficerStrong evidence of meeting ambitious student recruitment targetsDemonstrable experience of developing and implementing successful student recruitment strategies and delivering recruitment activities in a Higher education contextUnderstanding of the HE student recruitment cycleDemonstrable knowledge of education requirements and systems in student recruitmentExtensive knowledge of recruitment of studentsProven knowledge of the UK and EU education systems and qualificationsStrong written standard and oral communications skillsGreat interpersonal and communication skillsA positive, friendly approach to fit in with the and wider teamResults orientedAbility to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritising to meet deadlinesAbility to work under pressure whilst maintaining high quality outputExperience in the Higher Education Sector will be an advantageCirca 2 years experience in a Student Recruitment roleThis job description is current at the date of issue
