Position Summary:
This is a role that requires incumbent to own & execute global processes related to personal Independence monitoring activities. The candidate should be comfortable working in an unstructured & complex environment requiring out of box thinking, logical reasoning, sound communication skills and ability to make quick decisions.
The Supervising Analyst within RMS-Independence team would be required to develop subject matter expertise in RMS process and policies. An individual should be able to continuously add value to assigned processes and develop solutions for situations that may not have been previously documented. Process transitions will be an important part of this profile and the candidate will be expected to lead & manage the entire transition life cycle including project scoping, documentation, execution, & improvement. Providing feedback to the team members and helping them to move the learning curve will be another aspect of this role.
Key Responsibilities (Analytical/Decision making):
Conduct research using both systematic and intuitive secondary research techniques
Analyse the research findings, draw inferences and conclusions in response to the research requirement
Understands key requirements of firm and regulators’ risk management rules and policies
Uses analytical and project management methodology and tools
Completes all assigned projects/tasks in line with the standard operating procedures
Facilitates and drives the process to completion by following up on requests from Risk Management Consultants and assisting the client team
Performs review of transactions received from client teams and evaluates completeness, accuracy and appropriateness of proposed transaction/requests.
Flags issues/potential challenges to the project managers at an appropriate time so that timely action can be initiated
Acts as a liaison between the client teams, other members of the RMS team, and various functional areas within the firm
Builds a network of people within RMS and across the firm
Provide feedbacks and also facilitate gathering of feedbacks from the team members to continuously improve the processes
People / Project management responsibilities:
Provides first point of contact for guidance to the team and only unanswered / new questions or queries are put to onshore team
Identify training, learning & development opportunities for the team members
Responsible for quality of output through internal review mechanisms
Workflow allocation and ensuring delivery in agreed timelines
Providing team members with performance feedback; helping counsellor in completing periodic performance reviews
Manage day-to-day administrative issues and communicating appropriately to the customers / project manager at GDS
Responsible for Achieving customer satisfaction measures / project critical success factors
Knowledge, skills and experience requirements:
Exceptional and proven customer service skills, including responsiveness and commitment to quality
Need to have some prior hands on experience on basic project management skills working on different time bound projects (internal and external) and managing the same effectively
Highest standard of ethics, integrity, and values.
Highly-motivated with ability to perform well even when under pressure; proven ability to successfully complete multiple tasks in an agile environment
Good awareness of overall business and economic environment
Plans and organizes own work and keeps others informed of status and activities.
Role may require working post shift hours
Candidates with people management / team handling experience would be preferred
Ability to work well in a team and foster teamwork among others
Good analytical skills with a logical mind-set
Qualifications, certifications and education requirements
MBA/MCOM/MA or equivalent post-graduate degree from a reputed institute
3 – 5 years of experience in a research / analysis role
Candidates with exposure to handling international customers/client interaction would be preferred.
Well-developed analytical, interpersonal, and communication (both verbal and written) skills in English
Proficient in MS Office
Must be well versed with financial instruments used for investment purposes like Shares, Mutual Funds, Insurance etc.
Well acquainted with terminologies like ISIN, CUSIPs etc.
