Job Summary We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic TGT Science Teacher to teach Science to middle and secondary school students. The role involves delivering engaging lessons in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, developing scientific thinking, and ensuring strong conceptual understanding among students.
Key Responsibilities Teach Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) to Classes VI–X as per curriculum (CBSE/ICSE/State Board).
Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, worksheets, and assessments.
Conduct experiments, lab activities, and demonstrations to support practical learning.
Evaluate student performance through tests, assignments, and projects.
Develop students’ curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment.
Track and record student progress and performance.
Prepare students for examinations and science-related activities.
Participate in school events, science fairs, and co-curricular activities.
Collaborate with other teachers for academic planning and improvement.
Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Science (Physics / Chemistry / Biology or related subject).
B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) mandatory or preferred.
Experience 4–5 years of teaching experience in a school environment preferred.
Experience handling middle and secondary classes (VI–X).
Pay: ₹50,000.00 – ₹60,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Jiaganj, West Bengal: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)
