Role Description

The Engineer Intern – Research will support the design, execution, and documentation of research-driven learning projects at LABRIX. Beyond its training programs, LABRIX is actively engaged in various research initiatives, and this role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to these ongoing efforts.

This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Ghaziabad, with flexibility for work from home as project needs allow. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in designing experiments or technical prototypes, collecting and analyzing data, and preparing clear documentation, reports, and presentations. The intern will collaborate with mentors and researchers to translate research findings into student-friendly learning modules and support facilitation of project-based learning sessions.

Additional tasks may include literature reviews, basic simulations or modeling, testing and validation, and contributing to the continuous improvement of LABRIX’s research and training frameworks — while gaining hands-on exposure to LABRIX’s broader research initiatives.

Qualifications

• Foundational technical and analytical skills: pursuing or recently completed a degree in Engineering, Applied Sciences, or a related field; comfort with basic mathematics, data interpretation, and problem-solving.
• Research and project skills: ability to conduct literature reviews, design simple experiments or prototypes, document methods and results, and work systematically toward project milestones.
• Communication and collaboration: clear written and verbal communication, willingness to explain technical concepts simply, and ability to work effectively with mentors, peers, and learners.
• Technology and tools: familiarity with common productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software) and interest in learning basic engineering or analysis tools relevant to assigned projects.
• Mindset and work style: curiosity, willingness to learn, attention to detail, reliability in meeting deadlines, and openness to feedback in a fast-evolving learning environment.
• Preferred experience: prior participation in academic projects, competitions, labs, or internships; any exposure to mentoring, teaching, or guiding younger learners is a plus.
