Centre Manager

Job Description

1. Work with the Sales / Marketing managers to formulate the overall sales strategy for your centre

2. Develop business relationships with surrounding schools and colleges and execute marketing activities in them and at your centre

3. Work with a team of counsellors to achieve the centres sales target and ensure smooth functioning of your centre through effective manpower allocation

4. Counsel and follow up with students on Vidyalankar s course offering and convert enquiries to enrolments

5. Ensure that service quality standards are adhered to by tracking course completion, delivering study material and taking student feedback for each course offered

6. Provide actionable insights to Operations Managers to improve Vidyalankar’s courses and allied services

Requirements

Knowledge

The candidate should have scored at least 60% in the 10th standard board exams

The candidate should hold a postgraduate degree

The candidate should be well versed with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint

Having previous experience in sales / in the education industry is an asset but is not required

Skills

The ability to effectively lead through example

The ability to raise the performance of team members

The ability to work under stretched targets and fast paced conditions

The ability to deliver work on deadlines without compromising on the quality of work

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and the ability to fluently speak in Hindi / Marathi

The ability to probe students well

Behavior

The candidate should be personable, energetic, create clarity, take initiative and be detail oriented

The candidate should be willing to work on weekends (Weekly off between Monday to Thursday i.e. 6 day work week)

The candidate should be willing to work in the assigned shift (1st shift 6:45 am to 3:15 pm, 2nd shift 10:30 am 7:00 pm, 3rd shift 11:30 am 8:00 pm)
