Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pre Primary Teacher role based in Kolkata. The Pre Primary Teacher will plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons and activities that support early childhood development across language, numeracy, creativity, and social skills. Responsibilities include preparing learning materials, maintaining an engaging and safe classroom environment, observing and documenting student progress, and providing constructive feedback to learners and caregivers. The teacher will communicate regularly with parents or guardians, participate in school meetings and training, and collaborate with colleagues to align teaching practices with the organization’s holistic education approach. Additional duties may include supporting school events, contributing to curriculum enhancement, and maintaining classroom records.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Teaching and Elementary Education, with experience in early childhood or primary-level classrooms.
• Ability to contribute to Curriculum Development and implement engaging, age-appropriate learning activities.
• Effective Communication skills to interact with children, families, and colleagues in a clear, respectful, and culturally sensitive manner.
• Educational background in Education or related field; formal teacher training or certification in early childhood education is preferred.
• Patience, empathy, and a child-centered approach, with the ability to manage a classroom and support diverse learning needs.
• Willingness to work on-site in Kolkata and engage actively with the local community and school initiatives.
• Basic proficiency in Bengali and familiarity with the regional context preferred.
