Udayan Care, an ISO 9000 certified organisation, has been working for the quality care of disadvantaged children and women and youth for over 26 years, with the endeavor of providing sustainable rehabilitation. Based on the belief that aftercare youth need constant support and guidance beyond 18, upon leaving their child care settings, Udayan Care has developed a Aftercare Outreach Programme (AOP) that directly provides aftercare support through education, skilling, mentorship, accommodation and other areas as identified by the Sphere of Aftercare (TM), till they are fully mainstreamed in society as independent adults. Udayan Care has been accredited by Give India, Guidestar & Credibility Alliance, for its transparent and credible performance.
In 2015, the Honorable President of India awarded Udayan Care with the National Award for Child Welfare 2014-India’s highest commendation for a non-profit child welfare organisation constituted by the Govt. of India. A new project has been initiated in Delhi to work on reintegration and family strengthening of children who have been restored back to their families during COVID 19 and to work on their assessments, care planning, interventions, linkages and demonstrate a model on reintegration such that they remain within their families and unnecessary family separation is prevented The Project “Family Strengthening: Restorations and Reintegration of Children back to their Families in Delhi (India)”, aims to establish a demonstrable and scalable model of supporting families whose children have been sent back to them from children’s homes in Delhi. It aims to ensure appropriate follow up and linkages to social welfare schemes for family strengthening so that the family is enabled to care and protect their children as they live with them.

Approx. 2 years of experience working with youth and psychological counselling.
To have a working knowledge of Safeguarding and Child Protection
Educational Qualifications
Masters or Bachelors in psychology from an institute of repute.
