Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Professor role in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AIML), based in Andhra Pradesh, India. The Assistant Professor will design and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in AIML, including lectures, labs, and project-based learning. Responsibilities include mentoring students, supervising projects and dissertations, and guiding learners in research and career development. The role involves conducting independent and collaborative research, publishing in reputable journals and conferences, and seeking research funding where applicable. The Assistant Professor will also participate in curriculum development, academic assessment, departmental meetings, and university-level academic and outreach activities. Qualifications
Strong foundation in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and related areas such as Deep Learning, Data Science, and Statistical Learning.
Proficiency in programming languages and tools commonly used in AIML (e.g., Python, R, relevant libraries and frameworks) and experience with applied projects or industry collaboration.
Demonstrated ability or strong potential to conduct quality research, publish in peer-reviewed venues, and guide student research projects.
Effective classroom teaching skills, including course planning, delivery of lectures and labs, student assessment, and use of modern instructional technologies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to diverse learners.
Master’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related field); a Ph.D. in a related area is strongly preferred.
Commitment to ethical academic practices, collaborative work with colleagues, and active participation in departmental and institutional initiatives.
Prior teaching or academic experience, and exposure to outcome-based education or accreditation processes, is an advantage.
