Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Mother Teacher at Kidzee’s Varanasi center. The Mother Teacher will take a holistic approach to guide and nurture young children in their early years. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and conducting engaging activities, supporting the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of children, maintaining a nurturing classroom environment, and regularly communicating with parents to share progress and address individual needs. The role emphasizes personalized attention and care to ensure each child thrives during their formative years.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in child care, including patience, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage classroom activities, foster engagement, and encourage the creativity of young learners
• Good communication and active listening skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field is preferred
• Prior experience in preschool teaching or child development is an added advantage
• Understanding of early childhood development stages and methods of fostering age-appropriate skills
