About VAMA Gears

VAMA Gears is a fine jewellery brand specialising in 22kt hallmarked gold and certified Polki pieces. We sell through Instagram, WhatsApp, and our Shopify store, and we’re building a fast-moving, hands-on team. This role sits at the heart of how orders actually get processed, packed, and delivered — so attention to detail matters. It’s a great first job for someone who wants to learn how a growing D2C brand really works.

What You’ll Do

• Process and track daily orders across Shopify, WhatsApp, and DMs from confirmation to dispatch
• Coordinate packing and shipping with our logistics partner (Shiprocket), generate labels, and follow up on deliveries, returns, and RTOs
• Maintain accurate inventory and SKU records, flagging stock issues before they become problems
• Support the sales team by following up on payment links (Razorpay), order confirmations, and customer queries on WhatsApp
• Keep order, customer, and dispatch data clean and up to date in our sheets and tools
• Coordinate with vendors and the production team on order timelines
• Handle day-to-day operational tasks and ad-hoc requests as the business grows

What We’re Looking For

• A recent graduate looking to start a career in operations or e-commerce — no prior work experience required
• Comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets and eager to learn new tools (Shopify, WATI, Shiprocket)
• Strong attention to detail and good follow-through — you close loops without being chased
• Clear communication in English and Hindi; comfortable on WhatsApp with customers
• Organised, reliable, and able to juggle multiple tasks in a busy environment
• Based in Bangalore (ideally near HSR Layout) and able to work in-office, 6 days a week

Bonus Points

• Internship or college project experience in retail, fashion, or e-commerce
• Familiarity with Shopify or any order management tool
• A genuine interest in jewellery and growing into a broader operations role as the company scales
