Role Description This is a full-time, on-site PGT Information Technology role located in Bagh. The Post Graduate Teacher (Information Technology) will design and deliver IT lessons for senior secondary classes in alignment with the CBSE curriculum, ensuring clear learning objectives and measurable outcomes. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, creating practical lab activities, evaluating assignments and examinations, and maintaining accurate student performance records. The role involves managing and supervising computer labs, ensuring systems and networks function smoothly for teaching and learning activities. The teacher will guide students in projects, support IT-related school initiatives, integrate technology into classroom pedagogy, and collaborate with other faculty members for academic planning, co-curricular activities, and parent interactions.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Information Technology concepts and applications relevant to the senior secondary (PGT) level.
• Ability to manage school networks with skills in Network Administration and basic Network Security practices.
• Proficiency in Troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues in a school computer lab environment.
• Commitment to responsive and respectful interaction with students, parents, and colleagues, demonstrating effective Customer Service and communication skills.
• Postgraduate degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or a related field, along with a B.Ed. (as per CBSE norms).
• Familiarity with CBSE curriculum, assessment patterns, and use of digital tools and educational technologies in teaching.
• Strong classroom management, lesson planning, and student mentoring abilities, with a focus on ethical and safe use of technology.
• Prior teaching experience at senior secondary level or relevant industry experience in IT education is preferred.
