RV Educational Institutions are inviting applications for NMKRV College for Women for the position of Assistant Professor in Data Science.

The Assistant Professor’s responsibilities include teaching a requisite number of classes, providing guidance and supervision to graduate students, participating in departmental meetings, and providing academic support to Professors and other faculty members. You should be able to pace your lessons and publish articles regularly.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1) Prepare and deliver lectures to undergraduate and/or graduate students on topics on Data Science.

2) Assisting with various departmental duties and providing academic support to professors and other staff.

3) Recruiting, training, and monitoring new staff and other junior staff.

4) Evaluate and grade students’ class work, assignments, and papers.

5) Compile, administer, and grade examinations, or assign this work to others.

6) Providing Professors and departmental Heads with feedback on student progress.

7) Attending faculty and departmental meetings and voicing concerns or providing suggestions for improvement.

Designation: Assistant Professor

Department: Computer Science

Education: Bachelors in Computer Science, Post Graduate/Master Degree in Computer Science.

Current Location: South Bengaluru.

Experience: At least 05-08 years of experience in teaching Data Science.

Skill Sets: Publications, Paper presentation, and Consultancy

Preferences will be given to SC/ST/OBC’s based on merit.
